Personal Training In your Home!
Individual One-On-One or Duet (2-person) sessions are available online remotely via Zoom.
Your personal trainer will help you achieve your fitness goals by offering feedback on form, structuring your workout, and supporting you as you build your exercise routine. Our certified, professional trainers will design a specific workout plan tailored to your needs and goals. Get the coaching, feedback, and support you need all at affordable rates.
How does remote personal training work? It’s easy! These training sessions will be online remote via Zoom. Once you schedule an appointment your trainer will send you an email with a Zoom link. At the appointment time, use the Zoom link to join your personal training session.

Robbie Earle can also send you the New Client Questionnaire, this will need to be filled out prior to your first session. Please review the paperwork, any “Yes” answers on the PARQ will require medical clearance from your healthcare provider. You can also fill out a hard copy of the questionnaire and fax it to Berkeley Rec Sports.
Fitness and Wellness Opportunity Fund (FWOF)
The Fitness & Wellness Opportunity Fund is a fee waiver program, made possible from a one-year grant from the Wellness Fund, that is focused on lowering barriers to participation in wellness-related activities for students.
Through this fund, UC Berkeley students can participate in one Rec Sports fee-based program or activity costing up to $100 without charge. Some fee offsets are available for programs costing more than $100, including specialized personal training.
At the moment, FWOF can cover the cost of personal training sessions. At full operating capacity, Rec Sports offers a wide range of programs and activities to choose from including swimming and tennis lessons, personal training, CPR/First Aid certification, outdoor adventures, fitness workshops, and intramural sports. Please note, Martial Arts programs are excluded.
To participate in this program, please complete the Fitness & Wellness Program Request form. The form should be completed at least 14 days prior to the start of the program or service, to allow adequate processing time.
Please note, some programs are very popular and may have limited availability. Applications will continue to be accepted until available funds are exhausted.

Free Personal Training for students with a disability
We are proud to offer free personal training for students with disabilities through the Accessible Wellness and Empowerment (AWE) program. Thanks to a generous grant from the Wellness Fee Committee, we are able to offer free personal training to qualifying students.
