Year-Round Youth Programs and Camps for Summer 2020 Cancelled – Due to COVID-19 considerations, Rec Sports has cancelled all in-person youth programming (all summer camps as well as year-round Archery, Recreational and Competitive Gymnastics, Skate Classes, and Swimming Lessons) for summer 2020. Adventure Paddling Camp (min. 10 years) Outdoor Campers learn to master the fundamental skills of sit-on-top kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, including balance, proper paddling techniques, steering, paddling strokes, and rescue skills.
Afternoon Adventures (min. 8 years) Outdoor This high energy camp includes activities such as kayaking and stand up paddleboarding on the SF Bay, teambuilding through outdoor field games, designing and flying your own kite, building and testing your own cardboard sailboat, and sculpting and molding your own environmental clay art.
Outdoor Adventures Outdoor Outdoor Adventures is the opportunity your camper has been waiting for! Our program combines an amazing variety of exciting outdoor activities and the chance for campers to become a member of a tight-knit group while doing it!
Leadership Programs Leadership Cal Youth Programs has a Junior High and High School Leadership-to-Work Program that provides kids with an opportunity to learn outstanding leadership skills that can be applied to all aspects of life.
Rock Climbing Camp Outdoor Programs Rock Climbing Camp is great way to gain confidence in an exhilarating activity.
Sailing Camp (min. 10 years) Outdoor Programs Campers learn and review the essentials of sailing at different camp levels depending on the experience of the camper on the beautiful San Francisco Bay.
Science Adventures Outdoor This experiential camp gives kids the opportunity to observe, examine, and analyze a variety of Bay Area ecosystems – both on the water and on terra firma.
Sea Kayaking Camp (min. 10 years) Outdoor Programs Our Basic Sea Kayaking camp teaches the basics of sea kayaking, including: paddling technique, equipment, safety procedures, and rescue skills.
Windsurfing Camp (min. 10 years) Outdoor Programs Our Beginning Windsurfing camp for ages 10-17 provides campers with an introduction to the sport of windsurfing.

All the outdoor trips and camp programs, managed by Cal Adventures, begin and end at the UC Aquatic Center in the Berkeley Marina.
