About Blue Camp

Blue Camp is a comprehensive recreational day-camp for youth ages 7 – 12. Blue Camp is structured around the idea that all children need opportunities to play and engage in regular physical activity to support their mental health and well-being. Blue Camp combines developmental sports, outdoor learning, science, and the arts to provide a well rounded, and diverse recreational camp experience. In addition to a wide array of structured activities, campers are provided with ample opportunities to build positive relationships with friends through free play and group games that emphasize positive play and pro-social behaviors.

Camp Details

Blue Camp is split into three distinct age groupings to ensure safety, and age appropriateness for all activities. Information about the dynamics and structure of each group can be found below.

One-Week Camps offer campers a range of activities that are pre-determined by our program directors based on space and availability. Campers are all grouped together in a special one-week activity program. They are not placed in activities with two-week campers. You do not need to select preferences for one-week campers, as their activities are pre-selected based on the most popular activities at camp. Not all classes are offered on the one-week camp. Campers are automatically placed in swimming, so please indicate if you would like your camper to swim. If you would like more flexibility for your camper’s schedule, we suggest signing up for our Drop-In camp for the whole week or the two-week session.
