Sanak is determined to follow his passion for film, and along the way, he wants to experience every aspect of what it takes to work in that industry. And knowing how big the industry is, he hopes to find a role that he is confident is the perfect one for him.
“I joined T4C mostly because I really wanted to try something new. I knew I wanted to go into film and to explore what film meant; not just from a critical analysis and production sense, but from being an actor and being able to embody and flesh out a story. I wanted to get that opposite perspective of someone in front of the camera instead of just behind the camera. I wanted to see if acting had any value to me, and it definitely does.”
Sanak Miriyala is a sophomore at UC Berkeley and is an intended Film and Media Studies major. He is also currently the Historian for the club Theater for Charity, where he is also directing and acting in their one act and full length shows.
