Nutrition Education Workshop Series
Students are invited to attend this free nutrition workshop series, presented by Rec Sports. Part 1, Nutrition for Optimal Fitness and Health, will include an overview of general nutrition basics and discuss how to build a balanced meal, pre- and post-exercise nutrition, healthy hydration, the risks of under-nutrition, and nutrition resources across campus.
Part 2, A Virtual Grocery Store Tour, will cover what to look for in each section of the grocery store, how to read food labels, shopping on a budget, and meal planning basics
For assistance, RSF staff will be available to meet and direct participants at the RSF Pro Shop day of the seminars.

Nutrition Education Sessions for Students
Do you have general nutrition questions or want guidance on healthy eating? Sign up for a FREE 15-20 minute individual education session with a registered dietitian. We’ll focus on eating for optimal health, performance, and disease prevention.
Nutrition Education Sessions are available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3–5:30 p.m. See below view appointment availability and schedule an appointment. Please bring your student ID card.
Same day drop-in appointments may be available without a prior appointment. Check-in at the front desk in the RSF Main Lobby.
Note: Nutrition education sessions are not intended for students with medical nutrition concerns. To book a medical nutrition therapy appointment, please refer to the University Health Services website and for additional nutrition events across campus.
