Rec Sports offers a diverse array of fun and motivating fitness classes that will meet your needs and help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

Reservation-Based Group X Classes

Starting April 11, 2022, Cycle and Aqua X classes will be available on a reservation-only basis. 

Group Exercise Schedule

View the dynamic Group Exercise schedule where you can sort by class types, days, and instructors to compose a class schedule that meets your needs. 

Group Exercise classes include Instructor introduction and welcome, orientation for new participants, equipment set-up and safe use guidance, class instruction with modifications for all levels, wiping down and returning equipment to proper storage spaces, and the opportunity to ask questions.

 

Group Exercise Class Descriptions

Class Description
Full Body High-energy classes to work your entire body
Cardio Built to make you move. Choose from dance, classic aerobic, kickboxing, and water based classes
Core The focus in these classes is building a strong core
Mind/Body Make the mind/body connection through yoga, stretching, and meditation
Strength Training Build strength and get toned

Reservations

Make a reservation on the Rec Sports online store. Reservations are available up to 72 hours in advance or the same day if space is open. 

Members can make one reservation per day. Rec Sports strongly encourages members to limit their number of reservations to 3 per week to provide space for all students to access our facilities and programs.

To cancel a reservation

  1. Log on to your account at shop.rs.berkeley.edu.
  2. Click on your username (or UID) in the upper right.
  3. Click profile.
  4. In your profile, click on BOOKINGS
  5. Find your reservation and click CANCEL.
  6. Users who plan to No-Show must cancel in advance to avoid future restrictions.
