Ethan Faye has grown up skiing the slopes of mountains and life. This passion for skiing and other sports has inspired him to follow a dream to go to medical school. When someone breaks a bone participating in the sports he loves, he wants to be able to help heal them so they can continue living their lives to the fullest. It is one thing to be able to do something you love, but Ethan wants to use his passion to make a difference in the lives of others.
“For the last three years I have been on the Cal Ski and Snowboard team. The real reason I joined it is because I sort of needed to join a ski team. I’m from North Lake Tahoe, California and I was raised in Squaw Valley on a ski team ever since I was two years old. My mother has been a ski instructor for 30 years. On the Cal team, we do compete, though we’re not the most competitive, but I’ve definitely developed a fantastic group of friends that has really become my family here at Cal.”
Ethan is a Senior at UC Berkeley. He is studying Integrative Biology with a minor in Chemistry and is a member of the Cal Ski and Snowboard team.
