Overview

Here at Blue Camp, campers are able to try a variety of activities that range from basketball and Hip Hop to arts and crafts and swim lessons. Blue Camp is a place where independence and personal responsibility is fostered. Campers learn to advocate for themselves, navigate their activity schedule, and have fun while receiving top level instruction from our staff.

Ages & Eligibility

Campers must be aged 7-8 (by December 1, 2019) or entering 2nd or 3rd grade in order to register for this camp.

Camp Details

One-Week campers are automatically signed up for the Sports & Art track (see Structure below) and are not grouped with the Two-Week campers. Swimming is included for One-Week and Two-Week Cubs.

Placed into “groups” of about 10-12 campers. Each group has a fun and energetic group leader who cares for the individual needs of campers and supports them in learning new skills and making friends. Specialized instructors – with support from the group leader – teach the activities.

Two-week campers select between two activity tracks: Sports Track or Sports & Arts Track, and are preassigned activities. Both tracks include swimming and a variety of sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, lacrosse, football (touch), lacrosse, baseball/softball, martial arts, and rugby. The Sports & Arts track includes arts and crafts, and often one less strenuous activity such as drama, or hip-hop.
