WorkFIT Participant Loses 140 lbs. in 24 Months


WorkFIT, the much loved on-site workout program for UC Berkeley employees is now meeting with great success at the University of California, Office of the President (UCOP).

The UCOP newsletter, Link, featured a story on WorkFIT in their January 8th edition.

After 20 years of being overweight, yo-yo dieting, and finally being told by her doctor she would need a cane to help her walk, Julie Drouyor got serious. She changed her diet, started working out and, in about 24 months, shed a remarkable 140 pounds.

    WorkFIT is a great initiative. Most people these days have a very unhealthy type of work environment. But 140 lbs? That is incredible, congratulations to both the program but mostly to the employee that lost all that weight!

    Well i believe that will totally change her life. Loses 140 lbs in 24 months is pretty hard i though. I mean it, my auntie has also an overweight problem. She had try many dieting program, but they didn’t work.
