Cal Adventures offers hourly rentals for sailing, windsurfing, sea kayaking, and standup paddleboarding. We also offer passes for those who plan to rent often (the 2 Month Rental Pass and Adventureship Pass). For all renters, we operate a rescue motor boat for those who require assistance returning to the dock. All rentals are subject to on site staff approval given the individuals water experience as well as weather, wind, and sea conditions.

Who Can Rent?
Generally, rentals are available to anyone that has taken and passed our sailing (both basic and intermediate), windsurfing, sea kayaking and standup paddle boarding classes. If you have not taken our classes, you can do what we call a “Checkout.” Checkouts are skills tests for experienced boaters that would like to test out of our classes so that they can rent our boats. Rental Fees
Wetsuits, spray jackets and PFD included with rental price. Please bring photo ID to rent equipment.

Rental Passes
We offer two passes for those that will be renting often: 1) a two month pass that is good for renting any of our equipment over a two month period; and 2) the Adventureship pass, which is good for unlimited rentals for two consecutive semesters, plus free registration to any of our boating classes over the same period of time.
