Advance your small boat sailing skills in challenging high wind conditions so you can confidently sail in the bay. Learn reefing, upwind sailing, and crew overboard recovery in four half-day afternoon sessions. Cultivate skippering and technical skills needed to safely sail with guests who have little or no sailing experience. After successful completion of this course students are eligible to rent Coronado 15 sailboats, take advanced sailing clinics and potentially enroll in the Advanced Sailing class with permission from their instructor. Students must complete basic sailing or take a private lesson before enrolling.
