The Pilates Method builds strong postural and abdominal muscles through a unique series of mat exercises. Each exercise stretches and strengthens your muscles while opening your joints and releasing tension. The technique itself is founded on a set of principles which works the whole body in balance, coordinating the upper and lower musculature with the body’s center. This can often dramatically improve strength, flexibility, posture, and co-ordination. Pilates has been effective in eliminating back ache, slumped shoulders, and repetitive strain syndrome.
Our classes will help you develop balance and strength and will teach you advanced variations of your favorite poses. Take Mat Pilates to progress your movement and to transition out of drop-in Group X Pilates classes.
