UC Berkeley student Newton Nguyen is 98% blind, and competes on the triathlete team. Nguyen and his teammates are currently training for the Collegiate Triathlon Nationals next month in South Carolina. Nguyen “is an inspiration to the team,” says Cal’s triathlon coach Dean Harper.
